How to Light a Bunsen Burner

 Aim:

I want to find our how to safely light a Bunsen Burner.

Method:

Equipment:

• Lighter or Matches
• Heatproof Mat
• Bunsen burner

Instructions:

1. Get your equipment
2. Safety Glasses on
3. Connect the hose to the gas tap
4. Turn the collar to close the air hole
5.  Slightly light the match or lighter over the gas but do not turn the gas tap on before you light it
6. Tie your hair up out of your way

Themed Bells

 Kia Ora,

Since school started it's been a good time finding new friends and spending time with them. But something that has stood out to me is the school bells. The school bells are themed and they are each a song. The students and others can request a song and there's a chance of it being the bell for the week. Some bells are themed about international woman's day, and pride day. 

This weeks school bell had lots of requests for this band so this week the bell was Six60, All she wrote. 

I think the song all she wrote is a good song because it's good to listen to. The band six60 has 4 people in it. I like this song for the school bell this week because it's something different.

Term 1 reflection

 Term 1 Reflection

My highlights of term 1 was hurumanu periods with my friends. Interval with them is my favourite because we get to do our own thing and spend time together.

Something challenging about term 1 was being over loaded with work and having to finish it all at the same time late.

A goal I would like to set myself for this term is to get along with everyone in my class and start focusing on my work a little more. As well as finishing work on my own instead of doing it with my friends.
