Kia Ora. Recently the 2020 Olympics which was in 2021 because of Covid 19. Since the Olympics were recently on in class we are doing a activity task for the Olympics. I chose one of the tasks from the board:

Science - Coke & Mentos

 Aim: I want to find out how many bubbles are made when Mentos is dropped in Coke.

Method: 

Equipment

• Safety Glasses
• Coke
• Coke zero
• Sprite
• Mentos
• Detergent
• Measuring cylinder
• Small beaker

Instructions:

1. Get your equipment
2. Pour 20ml of coke into a 100ml measuring cylinder
3. Pour Detergent into the beaker, then add some of the detergent from the beaker into the 10ml measuring cylinder to the 5ml line
4. Add the 5ml of detergent into the coke.
5. Then pop the mentos into the coke
6. Wait for it to fizz up 

Results:

	Coke	Coke Zero	Sprite
Height of the bubbles	30ml	50ml	70ml

Conclusion:

I found out that only mint mentos works and not fruit mentos and that sprite works better then coke zero and coke.
